About the company

Who owns Northwest Heating and Cooling?

It is woman owned and locally owned. The owner has worked in heating and cooling since 2000, and the company has had its office in Airway Heights since 2007.

Are you a registered contractor?

Yes. Washington Labor and Industries lists the company as an active general contractor, registration NWHEAHC926O9, with a bond and insurance on file, as of October 10, 2026.

Where do you work?

Across Spokane County and in parts of Lincoln and Stevens counties, from our office in Airway Heights. The towns we work in have their own pages.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

About the work

What do you install and repair?

Furnaces on natural gas, electricity and propane, air conditioners, air source heat pumps, ductless mini splits, water heaters (tank, tankless and heat pump), unit heaters for shops and garages, venting, gas piping, ductwork, duct insulation, and indoor air quality equipment.

Do you work on new construction?

Yes. We work on new construction with builders and homeowners, and on retrofits. On a retrofit, the venting we can add depends on access in the building.

Do you work on businesses?

Yes, light commercial buildings, as well as homes.

Do you do electrical work?

We do not specialize in electrical work, and we work closely with an electrical contractor in the area.

About paying for it

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Qualifying projects can be financed through Hearth.

Do you have maintenance agreements?

Yes. A yearly maintenance agreement comes with discounts on repair parts or labor. We check the cooling side in spring and the heating side in fall.

Do you have discounts?

We run seasonal discounts. Call the office to ask what is running now.
