Old houses, old systems
The median Spokane home was built in 1961, and about 26% date from 1939 or earlier, according to the Census Bureau's 2024 American Community Survey. The South Hill and Browne's Addition are known for Victorian style houses; the neighborhoods of north Spokane are more recent.
In a house that age, the furnace is often not the only old part. The ductwork, the venting and the gas line can go back decades too. We install and repair all of them: furnaces, and ductwork, venting and gas piping.
Gas first, electric close behind
About 54% of Spokane homes heat with utility gas and about 42% with electricity. About 1% still burn fuel oil. We work on gas, electric and propane furnaces, and on air source heat pumps, which are increasingly common in Spokane homes.
We work across the city, from downtown Spokane to the South Hill and Five Mile Prairie.
